Roper's Ribs - St Louis

Best BBQ in the Lou! Not a fancy place. Mostly carryout, but they do have a few tables. If you want delicious food, this is the place for BBQ. Ribs, brisket, hot links, and fried shimp...simply amazing ??!

After spending over $100.00, I am disappointed to report that both the customer service and food quality were subpar. Despite the significant investment, the experience fell short of expectations. I hope this feedback can be used to improve the overall service and quality for future customers.

Used to be a good spot for rib tips and snoots back in the day. Used to be a regular spot for me and my family . Recently stopped in and spent 50 plus bucks on rib tips, brisket, and other items. The tips were tough like leather and hardly any meat on them. The brisket and polish were ok. The sauce was good. But we were highly disappointed in the rib tips. The service was ok, but not welcoming. Overall, doubt if we will ever visit again.

This space feels like being home for a holiday. The peach cobbler was so good, the communication was on point. The tables were clean and nicely decorated. Mr and Mrs Roper make good food in a nice space.I ordered the rib and shrimp combo with peach cobbler and I was NOT disappointed. The sauce was actually finger licking good
