Bert's Irish Pub - STOWE

If you are in town, do not visit this restaurant. The bartender/owner is terrible and only serves locals. She has two shar pei dogs behind the bar...

We stopped by this restaurant after a long drive and found it to be cozy. It had a friendly, welcoming atmosphere similar to Cheers where everyone seemed to know each other but also greeted us warmly.

Meet the locals! come to burts! great beer prizes! friendly bartender, and a series of watching the basketball game. everyone was very friendly, even for the extra-city towns. the cheapest bee in stowe! (that is the reason why there are many locals here).

What an amazing little pub with great energy. in any case it is worth checking whether you are in the city, eating best I had all the weekend in Vermont and I expected Irish as I have never been in a pub that was not. but was pleasantly surprised, the more south of the Boarder menu options (the homemade taquitos will never forget them) has a pool and foosebal table below. good music, affordable and friendly staff and local at the bar
