Gustus Resto - Tagbilaran

For our first dinner in Bohol we checked TripAdvisor and this restaurant was close to our hotel and nicely rated. Well it turned out that food was ok but no more, as was the size of the plates. Tilapia was announced as for 2-3 persons but was honestly more for 1 person only. This restaurant fell into our own "so so" category.

The place closes at 9PM. The TV is tuned in on NBA. The dishes are Filipino and some pastas. They have Sapporo beer but no wines. So I cannot tell you what this restaurant is all about. We tried the tilapia with curry. It wasn't bad nether was it outstanding. We also tried the fresh Vietnamese lumpia and it wasn't bad either. I hope the owner focuses on what this restaurant should offer to its clientele. The ambience has potential but there's work to be done In the kitchen and of course the wine list.

Extensive menu and a lot of mouth watering delicacies to choose from. although I'd rate the taste 7/10.

Cozy place to dine at. Their Filipino dishes are amazing specially the crispy pata and sizzling bulalo. the watermelon basil juice is also quite a unique experience.

I love the crispy patA and their sizzling bulalo. It is an excellent place to have dinner in tagbilaran. Their menu is filled with choices that would delight any Filipino diner .
