I was excited to discover this restaurant while driving north to scout locations for a poker run. I ordered a burger, fries, and a drink. The food came out quickly, but unfortunately the burger was undercooked. As someone with 30 years of experience in the food industry, I requested that it be cooked more thoroughly. However, the best they could do was to quickly heat up the burger with the toppings and grill it again. The result was a burger with burnt edges, wilted lettuce, and a disassembled tomato. My friend was so put off by it that they decided not to eat. Despite the issue, the staff insisted that we still pay for the meal. I would have preferred my burger to be undercooked rather than overcooked. The staff were relatively friendly, but I was concerned about their handling of the situation with the raw meat. It was ironic to see a sign in the restaurant promoting the dangers of eating undercooked foods. On a positive note, the servers were excellent and the fried plantains they gave us were tasty, although a bit greasy - which bikers tend to enjoy.

After spotting this restaurant, we finally decided to stop in for some drinks. That led us to trying some beer and wine, as well as enjoying a delicious hamburger with real fries. I had the chance to chat with Burnsie, the chef who runs the place. We also bought a jar of their seasoned rub, which was fantastic. The restaurant had cold beer and delicious food! We visited on a Friday night and they had a Christian band performing. The music was fantastic, making it a lively evening. Big thanks to Burnsie for the amazing food.

We've been driving by Handlebars forever finally stopped in and loved it! The shrimp sauteed in garlic was delish and the tuna melt as well. I was with my husband and we found the staff and others sitting at the bar very welcoming. We'll be back!
