Il Castagneto - TERNI

Location semi-lost in the charming Val Serra between chestnuts, pines and limes is the classic restaurant that if you bring someone unused to the Italian cuisine could also faint for the delicacies that you can eat. Frittata, bruschette, ciriole, lamb, wild boar... all with the truffle found in the area. And then wild boar, vitella, ham, vegetables, homemade pasta, chains and much more so high in KM0 and cooked in the grill. Practically to make those lunches or dinner that you would never want to end.

I found myself very well. The white boar ragout pappardelle were exquisite as well as the truffle lamb and sausages. Very good English soup and chocolate semifreddo. The lady finally pampered us with delicious roast chestnuts of her grove. Recommended.

Mrs. Luciana never disappoints! Good lunch on the occasion of the days of the Fai. After visiting the lovely village of Macerino, the right refreshment by Mrs Luciana. Coratella, ciriole al tartufo, pappardelle with wild boar, sliced with lamb, chicory...as always a guarantee!

Restaurant spartano in which you can taste the true typicalities of the territory Ternano and Umbro southern in general. Family production and flavors of once, we live at 15 km and we will definitely return.

We had dinner with Mrs. Luciana and were pleasantly impressed. The family atmosphere and the terrace with a view have accompanied the excellent Umbrian cuisine of the cook: I highly recommend a jump in this restaurant in the heart of the countryside, it is really worth it!
