That Place On Sturt - Townsville

Hidden away in a corner, I was thrilled to discover some excellent coffee. It’s been challenging to find a place that matches the quality of Melbourne coffee. The service was fantastic as well. I couldn’t stop for food this time, but I’ll definitely be back!

Dream Coffee Excellent food. That Place is excellent has friendly staff and excellent cheap home made food. Coffee is a superior smooth blend, staff are well trained in the art of coffee making.

We received a warm and friendly welcome as soon as we entered the restaurant. The coffee was served quickly, and our breakfast order was taken without delay. The Gypsey Eggs, which were recommended, lived up to the hype and were delicious. They were served hot in a cast iron skillet, and we found them very satisfying. The only drawback was that clearing the tables seemed a bit slow, considering the number of staff on hand. However, that was the only negative aspect of our experience.

Go for sweet potato chips if nothing else. The best sweet potato chips I've ever heard I would return just to have the chips. Other 3 meals were adequate and we didn't stay long enough for coffees or drinks this time. Very very noisy so perhaps pick your time to visit, seemed to be THE place to be lunch in the city

Best Coffee in Townsville. When the craving come on a daily basis for great coffee, the first place I turn to is That Place on Sturt. I am always happy to make the drive into the city for That Place and am always happy with their great service and friendly staff. There are plenty of delish options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you're looking for good coffee, this is That Place (on Sturt).
