Rita's Italian Ice Frozen Custard

This location needs to shut down and get it together! They have these teenage girls who are very respectful working and using calculators to add up totals, because their credit card machines aren’t working! And it smells like it’s a few dead animals in there! Where is L I when you need them!

The restaurant closed 40 minutes earlier than their scheduled time and, despite having customers inside, refused to serve them.

I really wish I could give this place zero stars. The water ice was overly watery and had bits of paper in it. I will never come back. The customer service was terrible. I bought a quart of water ice that I couldn't eat because of the disgusting pieces of paper. This was a terrible experience.

This led to an uncomfortable argument with the employee, Tiffany, and the two girls who were now being prioritized. It was the worst experience I've ever had, and I was extremely upset. During all of this, my daughter started whining because we had to wait even longer, and a girl in line looked her up and down and rolled her eyes, as if my daughter was bothering her. At that point, I had to leave the line and go home. This establishment really needs to improve its staff and customer service, and perhaps consider moving to a different location in Upper Darby, as Barclay Square is not suitable. I will never return to this Rita’s or spend my hard-earned money there again!

Rolled up at 8:40 and the girl had already closed....Twenty mins early. Looked like they had closed earlier too.
