Rita's Italian Ice Frozen Custard

I really wouldn't waste your time with this place. We waited for 40 minutes to get served. The dog that came in and out of the shop got served quicker. The staff were far too busy talking to each other than serving customers.I don't know what the rules are for animals in a food outlet but it doesn't fill me with confidence when the staff are more interested in a dog than serving the very very long line.

An amazing place to get Italian ice! This specific stores stays open throughout the entire year, unlike many other Rita's. I would definitely try the mango ice and vanilla custard Gelati! This place has a bench outside in front of the store to sit on while you eat.

I must say, for a company that specializes almost exclusively in shaved ice, this place does it pretty well. Once a year Rita's offers a free cup of Italian ice for the first day of spring and you best believe that my wife and I take full advantage of that deal.The shaved ice is delicious, the staff was sweet and helpful, the seating was scarce and there's plenty of street parking in the back.See you next year, Rita's.

This is a great Rita's with nice and patient servers. I love the gelatis, but was not too impressed by the sampler platter for Vienna restaurant week, because I feel like it's strange to have the gelato and custard be separate. However, this place is fresh and the gelatis are great to have on a hot day.

They are awesome because they are open during the winter!
