Barbecue Kai Incorporated - Waianae

Very incomprehensible location and Filialfront, not sure what to expect when I get Google food near me when cruise along the highway 93 on the west coast of Oahu.. Wow- amazing good food, to an amazing value. The BBQ Burger with Fritten ordered, and the Mahi Mahi noon. Burger was not bad, plentiful amount of frits (ordered medium size) and cost less than businesses that were closer to Honolulu. The Mahi Mahi record? Although the menu said that we would get rice and a page, we were not for the amount of food we receive. Two very large bowls of rice, a large amount of macaroni salad, and three large, broken fillets of the fish with two souffle cups full of teersauce. The fish was absolutely amazing. I'm not a fan of fish, but I ate half of what my wife bought. Even without the tar sauce. By far the best food we have eaten on the island all week. The menu includes many items such as breakfast items, sandwiches, burgers, NY Strip Steak, and Asian dishes such as stir fry, etc. The menu is extensive, please check this place!!

The food was incredible! The katsu was juicy, the loco moco was delicious, and the noodles were spot on! The portions were generous for the price. Check out the photos to see for yourself. What a hidden gem! I stumbled upon this place after reading a review for another restaurant that mentioned people only go there when this spot is closed. I decided to give it a try, and I’m glad I did! There’s a take-out window where you can place your order, and we enjoyed our meal right on the beach next door. I tried the loco moco, and it was fantastic—rich and hearty, with smoky meat. My friend ordered the shrimp burger and loved it. Everything was really affordable, but make sure to bring cash! This will definitely be a regular stop for us.

We had the burgers for lunch and then couldn't resist coming back after a long day at the beach for dinner! We practically devoured these burgers nonstop and I can’t wait to go back soon! If you ever stumble upon this little gem of a restaurant, you’ll be so glad you read this review and gave them a try! We’ll definitely be back, probably gaining a few extra pounds with these heavenly creations. I even had the chance to buy two burgers for a kind homeless guy who absolutely loved them! You really can’t go wrong here, and the prices are quite reasonable too!
