Sharky's - Wexford

Typically, this restaurant is top-notch and we have been loyal patrons since their opening, always singing their praises. Unfortunately, our recent experience was disappointing. The food was cold, soggy, and lacking in flavor. While we acknowledge the dreary weather in October, they must strive for better. They can't afford to disappoint regular and seasonal customers.

The food at this restaurant is tasty but it is definitely overpriced and the portions are smaller than in previous years in Rosslare Strand. The restaurant also always closes early. The fish and chips we ordered were delicious, but the prices were a bit ridiculous. Despite the high cost, the flavor of the food made up for it.

The french fries were decent, but I was surprised that the salt and vinegar were provided in packets. I have never been to a chip shop where they don't offer vinegar to soak the chips in. Sharky's Rosslare is in a great location and I hope they start providing vinegar for soaking chips like other chip shops do. It's nice that they have a gluten-free menu, but I would also like to see a vegan menu offered. Regardless, I will be satisfied with just the vinegar for now! As someone who frequently visits Rosslare, I am excited to soon enjoy chips soaked in vinegar at Sharky's.

I wasn't at this sharkies in wexford Town but I went to one out in carrig on bannow two times, first time the batter was so thick on the fish you get more batter than fish and trying to eat it was horrible. The chips were nasty ,had a very strange taste to them. The staff are very non plused about having a customer there , they seem to be more interested what's on their phone than the person buying something, very un professional. The second time I got a pizza which the base was soft and uncooked ,the tomato sauce also tasted extremely salty. Would not recommend going here for fish and chips or pizza.

The chips were soggy and the burger was terrible. It's unbelievable that they can serve such awful food and people actually pay for it. They need to improve their quality or just shut down.
