Burger King - Winter Haven

I don't typically choose Burger King since I'm not a huge fan, but I was pleasantly surprised by my burgers—they were actually quite good. The fries were also excellent. The drive-thru was completely empty when I went, so I can’t really comment on how it might be during a busy lunch or dinner rush. I found it odd that I had to go to the first window to pay and then wait there for a while before moving on to the second window. Not sure why that struck me as strange.

This Burger King is back in business, but the experience can vary depending on the management present. While the daytime service is generally good, the evening and late-night visits tend to be lacking. Often, the food received is different from what you actually ordered. We arrived around 8:30 p.m., only to find that the ice machine was already shut down, leaving us unable to get shakes or any ice cream treats. In contrast, the McDonald's down the street had everything available from their menu. It's disappointing that Burger King shuts down their ice machine—and possibly other items—before 9:00 p.m., instead of waiting until after closing to clean up. Ultimately, these issues stem from management decisions rather than the workers themselves.
