Sakura Japanese Steakhouse Sushi

Great food, good service, stopped in for my friend's birthday and ordered a spicy tuna crunchy roll, which isn't on their menu but it's essentially spicy tuna and panko bread crumbs. They were awesome about it and made it anyway. I also ordered a lava roll, which tasted just as good. Only two things I noticed about their suishi, the wasabi wasn't all that hot/spicy and the sushi was a bit warm once served. I prefer my sushi cold. The hibachi meal tasted great the food was cooked to order. A bit heavy on their sauces but I feel that's how most people like it. The chef did do shots of saki which I have never experienced before so that was fun. I ordered the steak and shrimp and had no complaints.

I really love the way this restaurant separates the hibachi area from the dining room. It's nice to be able to enjoy sushi at the bar without being overwhelmed by the smells and sounds. During our visit, we tried a few simple rolls and some gyoza. The tempura shrimp roll was especially delicious and very generously filled. While the specialty rolls were a bit on the expensive side, I'm already thinking about trying the Hawaiian roll during my next visit.

Love their sushi special! Fresh made to order sushi ready quickly after ordering! I come here often for lunch. The service is always great and the restaurant is clean and well-maintained.

I always order for pickup. The host are always pleasant. The sushi is always fresh and made well. My favorites are the Yummy yummy Fancy Dragon rolls. The chicken and lo mein is really good too. I would highly recommend it.

The service was lacking, slow, and the prices were too high. We will not be returning. This restaurant used to be good, but it has really gone downhill in terms of service and quality.
