Costa - Wokingham

The drive-through closed at 9:15 PM because the most senior staff member said they couldn't handle only having 3 staff members and customers inside. This was not surprising, as one of the staff members had a rude and unhelpful attitude. If they can't handle it, they shouldn't have opened in the first place.

I would like to share my thoughts on the wonderful staff at this restaurant. Every time we visit, they are friendly and accommodating. The snacks and coffee are always delicious and the service is consistently excellent. Thank you for all that you do, we truly appreciate it.

Yesterday morning, a woman working at the register insisted on paying for my lunch, even after I explained that I was not a local. My Mastercard app was not activated and I had no way to pay. As a new mom who was very hungry, I am grateful and will never forget this kind act. Thank you so much.

Stopped here for a takeaway lunch with two small children in the car visited as a drive through to take the lunch home to Woodley after driving from Billericay (Essex). I wanted to use a £20 Costa Coffee voucher on my phone without having the Costa App installed. The lady serving at the collection counter was exceptionally helpful in not only helping me pay from the details held on my phone but also in pointing out that we could collect Reward points on our regular Costa card for our order of over £20. Food and drinks to the usual Costa coffee standard, but full marks to the helpful lady!

I have rarely had the misfortune of being served my coffee or any product for that matter in such a venomous way. the woman who served me was rude mannered, like she hated the job and didn't want to be there and therefore despised to serve me. And then she made my gingerbread lattee as bitter as she was, just like the customer service I was left with a bitter taste in my mouth and I would opt for other coffee places next time.
