Summit Cakery Cafe - Woodbury Heights

I'm from SW Philly. Had a German bakery around the corner. Everything they baked was done carefully. I've found this again at the Bakery Summit. Your pastries are delicious. Do you need a birthday cake? Get her chocolate and vanilla cake. You're so good. Icing is light and fresh. I love this place.

I was in looking for a sweet treat, and walked out with the most DELICIOUS homemade Chicken Pot Pie, a Chocolate Chip pound cake. The pot pie was demolished by my family, even my picky 3 yr old grandson enjoyed it. Thank you so much for the suggestion.

Absolutely loved the curious George cake !!! Cake was absolutely delicious and looked so cute !!!

During my visit to the state, I stopped by while waiting for my family at the nail salon. I treated myself to a delicious brownie and picked up some cookies for the kids (who haven't tried them yet). I also got a peanut butter cupcake for my husband, which he absolutely loved, raving about how great it was. My only suggestion would be to avoid packing cupcakes in brown bags, as it got a bit messy. Overall, the treats were delicious, and the bakery had an amazing aroma!

I never really understood the hype surrounding this place, even when they operated under a different name in another city; I thought they were just average. However, my spouse enjoyed their chocolate chocolate cake. When I called to change my pickup time, I learned that they now require payment in advance, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the quality of the cake seemed to have declined compared to what it used to be. There’s really no reason to recommend this place when there are so many better options nearby. I’m giving it 2 stars because the staff on the day of my visit were quite friendly.
