Bidra med feedbackMy husband and I feel compelled to respond to the review Janice Johnson posted regarding a ?bad experience? she had on July 27th. Like her party, we arrived just before our stated reservation time of 6:30 pm. Our table for a party of 4 was occupiedso we parked at the bar, next to Ms. Johnson?s party. When we arrived, there was an open table for 5 and it turns out it wasfor her crew. It took them 45 minutes past their reservation time for THEM to move to their open table which, as anyone in therestaurant business knows, makes operating a kitchen more challenging, especially on a night where they were short staffed, something that was explained to them on arrival. When they did move, they were sufficiently difficult with the owners anddisruptive of the nearby tables that they were asked to leave Anthony?s by the owner. Unfortunate that she feels the need toberate the restaurant further than she did that night. She should feel free to stay away from what we feel is the best diningexperience in the north woods.
Had a bad experience we had reservations at 6:30 seated at 7 by the door at 2tables not even the same height on was a folding card table and told it would take 45 minutes to get our dinner, if the owner wasn?t mingling with his favorite customers out inthe bar it could have been sooner then told that a $28. Appetizer doesn?t come unless you buy a main course the bartender askedme why we were so angry long list so then the so called owner came out and told us to leave and never come back. The 1 star ?? Igave was for the lemon martini, so we did, went to alehouse in boulder where-we knew the food was good and the serviceimpeccable unfortunately it was not a good experience will stay home where we know the sauce is exceptional, homemade and norudeness to contend with. We go to a lot of restaurants around the Northwoods and have never been treated like that because wedidn?t deserve to be. This is the first time in our life we have given a restaurant a not so good review
We recently relocated permanently from the Chicago area and were in search of dining options beyond the typical fish fry and bar food. This restaurant exceeded our expectations. The walleye piccata was exceptional, and the chicken Marsala offered a delightful twist compared to what we've had in Chicago—absolutely delicious! Our server, April, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and personable. We also had the pleasure of chatting with Katy, one of the owners, who took the time to speak with us despite the bustling crowd. The prices are on par with other establishments offering upscale cuisine. We're looking forward to returning with my Italian mother-in-law in two weeks!
I had dinner last night at Anthony's Ristorante, and it was absolutely incredible! The Walleye Piccata was outstanding—perfectly cooked and honestly the best Walleye I've ever tasted. My boyfriend really loved the Seafood Alfredo, which was packed with large shrimp and scallops and had a beautifully balanced Alfredo sauce. And you absolutely have to try the cannoli—it’s a must! The owners, Tony and Katy, are wonderfully warm and friendly, and you can tell they're hard workers. We had such a fantastic experience that we returned later that night with two friends and enjoyed a few drinks while they ate at the bar. This has become my new favorite restaurant in the Minocqua area!
I visited this restaurant with my mother and two young children for some after-dinner drinks and dessert. The bartender and the main waitress, who I think might be the owners, were incredibly warm, friendly, and accommodating. The menu looked fantastic, and we’ll certainly be returning soon for dinner. The atmosphere is lovely.
