Bird Dog Bbq - Colorado Springs

What a find! Perfect portions, excellent quality and a great place to enjoy BBQ. Just moved here from the South and I am very happy!!

Great staff, friendly and knowledgeable. Food was very tasty even a couple hours after we got it home.

Really good bbq. Way better then most chains. The beef rib was great. Good beer selection as well.

Of all the bbq options in town, Bird Dog is my favorite! They have delicious meat that is moist and wonderfully smoked. The flavor isn't overtly salty and their dedication to quality is in every bite. I'm in love with smoke rings and sloppy sauce though so I might be biased. ?????

The bbq was okay. The sauce was honestly just average from a Kansas City bbq stand point. The meat tasted good, and was overall an okay place.Service was pretty slow, and they aren't the most efficient in regards to making food. The ribs, chicken and sandwiches are good, but they do not serve ham, which is strange for a bbq place. The beans tasted good, the Mac n cheese was okay, and the fries were average.The place does smell amazing though. By Colorado standards I'm sure it's good bbq.
