Super friendly host and owner and went above and beyond to make sure our vacation was excellent! I don't usually leave reviews but this was truly great!

If you are looking for a place to stay near Lassen National Park, look no further! We are a family of 4 and booked cabin 10. It was clean, spacious, perfect! We were greeted by deer everyday. The fire kept most little insects away in the evening. The drive to the park is about 15 20 minutes. There is a great place to eat 5 minutes away called Franks sooo good (if you don’t want to cook). Here is a list of what they provide: Towels Dish soap Everything you need in the kitchen (pots, pans, utensils, cutlery) Tea kettle Toaster Coffee maker Hand soap in bathroom Bbq bbq tools All linen pillows 1 bundle of firewood Matches What to bring: Soap/ Shampoo/ Body wash Paper towels Water (if you don’t want to drink tap) Board games Charcoal (for bbq) Lighter (they have matches) Foil Foil trays I found handy when bbq’ing Hand soap for kitchen (if you want it) Sponge (if you want to use your own) Tea/Coffee/Sugar/Creamer/coffee filter (Mr. Coffee style) Citronella candle for outside Cooking oil/ butter Thanks for a great stay, can’t wait to be back! PS we are not campers, we have “Glamped” at some other high end places and this was the most fun and enjoyable by far!

This was our second time staying at Mill Creek Resort, and both times have been magical! We've camped in the summer, and recently stayed in one of their sweet, cozy cabins for a beautiful winter wonderland experience. There's a lovely little trail right on the property, and some time down at the creek is a must, especially during warmer weather. Joe and Jillian and the Mill Creek crew are so welcoming and helpful they really want you to have a great stay : Will definitely be making our way back to this mountain retreat again!
